Northern Champions

This page is dedicated to those special cavies, the ones that have a championship certificate issued by the Northern cavy fanciers.

First of all the criteria:

A Championship Certificate will be granted to a cavy owned by a member that has won 5 first prizes in breed classes at Open shows advertised in Cavies under at least 3 different NCC, SNCC, NCF, Midland CC, or SCC judges.

Double Championships can be granted for ten wins under six separate judges; treble championships for 15 wins under 9 separate judges; and so on. Prize money need not be guaranteed.

Only one of the wins may be in Under 5 month classes.

One of the wins must be at an NCF stock show.

A win in a breed class qualifies provided there are at least 5 exhibits in the class. If there are less than 5 exhibits in the breed class then a win in one of the following classes will qualify providing there are at least 10 exhibits in the class : Any Self or Non Self Challenge, RV Challenge, Grand Challenge. In the event of there being less than 10 exhibits in the challenge class the claim may be supported by a Best Self or Non Self C O M or Diploma.

The breeders name must be declared
